When it comes to character dining, Disney World definitely has you covered!! Currently, there are 12 character meals - So which one do you choose? 🤔
Here are Team Fairy Godmother’s TOP 5 favorite character meals, where you can find them, and how many table service credits it will need if you are taking advantage of the Disney Dining Plan.
Let’s start with our number five pick, Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort.
Join Minnie and her friends for a “beach bash” breakfast! This character meal is one of several buffet style restaurants. While Cape May Cafe also offers a dinner buffet, we do need to note that Minnie and friends only meet during breakfast.
Requires 1 table service credit per person.
In fourth place, we have Cinderella’s Royal Table inside Magic Kingdom.
The perfect fairytale dining experience is right here at Cinderella’s Royal Table! Guests are welcomed into Cinderella Castle to join Cinderella and her princess friends for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our personal favorite to visit Cinderella and her royal guests is during breakfast! Add a little extra magic to your dining experience by dressing up for the occasion!
Requires 2 table service credits per person.
Moving along to third place, we are going with Tusker House inside Animal Kingdom.
Feeling adventurous? Trek on over to Tusker House to meet Donald and his pals for a delicious African inspired buffet! Tusker House offers character dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Again, Team Fairy Godmothers votes for the breakfast option here.
Requires 1 table service credit per person.
Second place was a tough choice! Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary Resort.
Hang with the Fab 5 at this buffet styled character dining. Chef Mickey’s offers both a breakfast character meal as well as a dinner character meal! Our personal favorite is breakfast! Gear up for your park day with a fun-filled breakfast and then set off to Magic Kingdom on the monorail!
Requires 1 table service credit per person.
And in first place, Ohana at the Polynesian Village Resort!
This Polynesian themed character breakfast will definitely put you in the Aloha spirit and is a MUST do for Lilo and Stitch fans! Guests are able to meet Stitch, Lilo, Pluto, and of course Mickey (all dressed up in his cabana shirt!) Breakfast will be served as an all you care to enjoy, family-style feast! By the way, the freshly made pineapple-coconut bread is phenomenal! 🤤
Requires 1 table service credit per person.
Bonus choice - 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian Resort!
This iconic restaurant is finally reopening on April 10, 2024! Guests can expect to see a newly refurbished dining room and other special touches at this buffet style experience. You will be able to meet Tiana (in her new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure outfit), Mirable, Aladdin (in his Prince Ali look), and Cinderella!
Reservations will begin on March 5, 2024. It has not been announced how many table service credits will be needed.
