Travel Favorites

I am always looking for great recommendations for items to help make my trip that much easier.  I want to share with you some of my travel favorites in hopes that they help make your travel journey just a little less crazy 🤪.

First up, is the travel scale.  Anyone else hate the “overweight” baggage fees? When I found my travel scale, it was a game changer!  I love using mine when we are checking our luggage to ensure I am not going to be over the max weight (which for some airlines is 40lbs).  Just hook the strap to the handle of your suitcase and lift up to see how much your luggage weighs!

Next, we have our packing cubes.  These help me to stay organized while also making sure everything fits into my suitcase perfectly.  They also help to condense your clothing space for more things like shoes or, in my case, Loungefly’s 😂.  There are ones out there that compress your items, but I haven’t found one I personally love as much as the packing cubes in our travel favorites list.

Next, we have our travel minis.  I really love having the option to travel light.  With these travel minis, I don’t have to bring large bottles of shampoo and conditioner or body wash.  I also love having the perfume minis.  They allow me to travel with my favorite scents without worrying about my perfume bottles breaking.  Also, make sure to grab a pill box.  My favorite is the one that I can label with the medicine within.  While I mostly travel with vitamins, I do get migraines and often need Excedrin or Advil.  I also travel with Tylenol for my family and this labeled box is a great way for them to see which type of medicine is where.

Next, we have our travel miscellaneous and electronics.  I absolutely love traveling with a neck pillow.  I’ve had too many flights and car rides where my head fell forward or to the side because I dozed off 🤣.  A great option for when you're traveling to destinations where you need a passport is a document organizer.  The one on our travel favorites list has tons of pockets and sections for passports, notes and destination currency.  For my friends who love their jewelry, you will love this jewelry organizer.  It’s a great way to keep your necklaces from tangling and knotting and keeping your rings and earrings organized.  For electronics, don’t forget a portable charger and then your actual charger.  The portable chargers on our list are small and compact and great ways to keep your phones and tablets charged while you travel.  The charging station folds up when you’re traveling but then lays flat when you’re ready to use it.  It’s the perfect travel accessory!

Finally, we come to something I am most excited about - my travel backpack.  This isn’t just any backpack, it’s one that is designed to imitate the way a small carry on would open.  It has more pockets than you can imagine (including a space for laptops and tablets) and can hold up to 5 days (more if you pack with those packing cubes - 😉) of clothing.  Plus it’s small enough to be considered a personal item for those airlines that only let you have one personal item.  It can fit under the seat or above in the overhead bins.  It’s something that I will travel with for many years to come!

Do you have any of these travel favorites?  Let us know in the comments or send us a message! And be sure to check out our Travel Favorites here!

I can’t wait to hear all about your travel favorites!
